Terms of Service

These terms apply to the nib website and application. By using nib, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Using nib

nib helps you keep original sources and work with an AI Agent to understand and connect them. You must be legally able to agree to these terms and follow applicable laws when using the service. Keep your sign-in account secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your content

You retain your rights in the content you upload or create. You give nib permission to host, store, back up, display, and process that content as needed to provide the features you use, including sending relevant content to AI providers for Agent tasks.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload and process your materials. Do not submit unlawful content, infringe someone else’s rights, or use nib to expose another person’s private information without permission.

Working with AI

The Agent can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading material. Summaries, connections, answers, and Canon pages are interpretations, not a replacement for your original sources. Check important claims against the source and use your own judgment before relying on them.

You are responsible for how you use generated content. nib does not provide professional legal, medical, or financial advice, and generated content may not be unique.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other users’ data, bypass security controls, introduce malicious software, overload the service, or use it for fraud or other unlawful activity. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, or a violation of these terms.

Availability and changes

nib is evolving. Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Keep independent copies of material you cannot afford to lose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the preservation of every item. If we introduce paid services, their prices and payment terms will be shown before you purchase.

Ending use

You can stop using nib at any time. To request account deletion, email hi@nibwiki.com. Content retention and backups are described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, or if required by law.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, nib is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
